Sapinda Deutschland GmbH

Sapinda UK Limited and Sapinda Deutschland GmbH are both subsidiaries of Sapinda Holding B.V., an Amsterdam based holding company which invests in public equity, private equity and debt. Sapinda Group provides equity and debt capital to European corporations.

 

Background

In 2004 the investment group Sapinda was co-founded by Lars Windhorst. The corporation was financially primarily run by a prominent South African industrialist family and completed investment transactions in excess of 2 billion Euros over the last 5 years. Due to the financial crisis in 2008 the company underwent a phase of restructuring in the 2nd half year of 2008. In April 2009 the group obtained a revised corporate structure and was capitalized by its shareholders. Lars Windhorst is a Managing Partner of the group and also serves as the CEO of Sapinda UK Limitd and is in parallel Managing Director at Sapinda Deutschland GmbH.
